TORREDEMBARRA - Magical holidays in Costa Dorada

Sol and Clarà Lakes and nearby dunes

We will approach the ponds there in front of the oldest human nucleus Torredembarra: Clarà. Formerly the ponds had been transformed into crops (cotton, etc.). More recently had been the destination of tons of dirt and debris that currently still exist, in part, as used as a parking esplanade along a loop Clarà bridge. The removal of part of these discharges allowed discover most primitive ecosystems and today virtually disappeared along the coast: the marshes.

How to get there:

  • From the local Torredembarra bus stop at Cal Bofill and Marítima Residencial Nord
  • From the Penedès bus company bus stop al Marítima Residencial Sud
  • From the Torredembarra railway station and/or the Railway Station bus stop of the Penedès bus company. We walk about 15 minutes towards Barcelona along the seafront promenade to the starting point
