Registration is open for the 21st Swimming Crossing - Fermí Morera Memorial

The Town Council's Sports Department has opened registration for the 21st Nedant Swimming Race - Fermí Morera Memorial, which will take place on 9 July, after two years without having been able to hold the event. The event is organised by the Department of Sport and has the technical direction of the Torredembarra Synchronised Swimming Club and the collaboration of the Rowers' Association of Baix a Mar, the Torredembarra Maritime Club and Torredembarra Civil Protection. This event is part of the Catalan Cross-Country Race Circuit and therefore scores points for the participants. Registration can be made at this link: https://lasttiming.es/inscripciones

Once the online process has been completed, registrations must be made at the offices at c/ Rosella s/n (Zona Esportiva Municipal), tel. 977 64 00 25 ext.862 or by e-mail esport@torredembarra.cat The deadline for registration is 4 July. The early bird registration fee is 5 € for juniors and 10 € for seniors.

As every year, there are two races. The "Travessia de Menors", with different categories and a distance of 500 m, starting at 10.30 am, in front of the block of the Platja de Baix a Mar, making a circuit. The "Travessia Absoluta" has a distance of 2,200 m, starting at 11 a.m., also in front of the Platja de Baix a Mar block and finishing at the same place.
